Little concept made for my digital art class. I've always wondered how Peter Parker would actually dress up as Spiderman, presuming he's just a teenager and not a costume designer with impressive sewing skills. I personally think he would come up with nothing better than a ski suit, protective pads, martial arts gears, a hoodie, a ski mask and some kind of goggles...Spider-Man Β© Marvel

I decided to go with the fingerless stuff because of his crawling abilities, but that's a good point...if I were Peter Parker, I would've been arrested in just a couple of weeks

Well, thinking about it now, the police don't have any fingerprint records or Pete. Or any kind of records since he has no criminal record. So, color me wrong. Sorry about that. Great pic though. Love it!

The exposed fingers and toes are actually more logical, because the spider hairs on those areas need to be fully exposed for maximum gripping on walls and such. If he wears gloves and shoes, then, realistically, he would not be able to climb like a spider at all.

I liked how that handled the "Parker is a high schooler and now a costume designer" issue in the new movie where all he did was buy a spandex suit off the web (pun unintentional). The most he really did himself was stitch sunglasses lenses onto a balaclava.
This is a really great re-imagining though. It looks very do-it-yourself while still remaining faithful to the classic "Spidey" look. Great stuff!
