Description
A finished version of:[link]I had some fun as I got into it! I just stuck with vary basic warm and cool colors for this one! Anywho, hope you enjoy my rendition of Darth Bane vs. Darth Zannah!
EDIT: I also used:[link] for Zannah's smirk.
Update:I uploaded a newer version with tweaking the brightness and contrast due to the feedback that it was originally too dark on some screens. Hope that corrected it!

Loved this moment in the book. Their battle showed what the master-apprentice relationship is like among the sith - a sort of advanced rock-paper-scissors; Zannah's Sorcery beats Bane martial arts, Cognus' Force disruption beats Zannah's Sorcery, and then some other talent beats Cognus.

hmm, it is bright enough that i can see the silhouettes of the characters now.. but i fear this isn't a problem that needs a simple brightening:/.. i don't know what program you use but it must have layers of some sort, i suggest making a new layer above this and laying down an open red light over zannah and some of banes body where the light from the sabers would hit.. then proceed to erase and add red light where it's needed and fade the layer(maybe mess with the effects to see if something might help) so it's not so harsh:]
as for the huntress.. i think having the horizon light bend around her silhouette to give that feeling the look that even though she is there the focus is on the fight
but that is just what i would do with this picture, and i apologize if i have overstep any boundaries in saying so-_-

no problem, i've been getting lost in a lot of things lately and trying too hard to get better at my art so it's nice to just step back and observe and contemplate solutions for a minute here and there

Tweaked the lighting in it a bit. It definitely gave Zannah some volume as well as Bane's forearms.

I wasn't liking how some of the effects were turning out in the filters. Also did you mean a "halo" effect on the Huntress? What areas come off too dark to you?

umm, well as for the huntress.. i think you should make a new layer, color pick the sunset and then draw a line with that color along the right side of her body, then fade the edge going over her head:/.. as for the fight it's self.. they are standing at least at an arms length from their lightsabers in an almost black scene, their bodies should be lit in a red glow..(mind you it doesn't have to be to bright) but it must illuminate at least the front of their bodies and a some what circular radius on the ground that fades out into the blackness(making note of shadows produced by their feet and clothes flowing in the way).. i hope i'm making since with all this x]

The color scheme and the lighting is beautiful! Its just so rich. Its weird because you normally would want to feel 'warm' when you see some Sith dueled but that certainly whats happening here! I don't get a menacing vibe at all! I love it!
