need some crits on this, im working on it rather hard to try n get it real good for my application portfolio.The rock viper is my creation, a scary desert dwelling serpent with scales hard like rock, and made to look like rock.

sorry for the harsh critique, but you really need to change the pose of your viper, otherwise it looks like a pile of ....poo >>;...i must admit i like the scales

lol haven't seen the way vipers tend to wind up? oh well its done, im not changing it now, so yeah. I wanted actual critiques not insults, the term critique is usually a "constructive" comment not a put down, If you dont have a civilised way of talking about stuff dont talk about it.

I think give it a more defined mouth and color all the stomach muscles "lines" instead of just the two and it will be an amazing piece.
You did an incredible job of separating each coil so it doesn't just turn into scales overload. It's the awesome shading that does it.

Took me a while to get the shading right, the style of scale can get a bit overload.
