Not every dog on earth looks like a wolf.There are hundreds of distinct breeds with different body types, builds, muzzles, tails, ears, and faces.
So stop making everything look like a wolf.
Wolves are really not that great.
looking at YOU, kids that make "Akita" and "Shiba inu" characters because they're OMG JAPANESE!!! but then ignore the fact that they're perfectly good breeds that DO NOT LOOK LIKE WOLVES

All dogs look like wolves. No matter how floppy their ears are, or how curly their tails look. They are domesticated versions of wolves.
Also Akitas and Shiba Inusctually resemble the Japanese Wolf way more than say the Tosa Inu.

I think it would be better if all dogs looked at least a bit like wolves or dingoes. I kinda feel sad for all those dogs that have all kinds of deformities due to breeding.

I first saw them in Nintendogs, loved them right away due to that. (It the first Nintendogs series way before I watched Anime or even before I knew that they were a Japanese breed, I only found out from watching Dog Breeds 101 a few years later.)Β Β

well if you want to be picky:
if you compair a Pure wolf to a dog like... a Husky.
Husky:
Curled tail
shorter legs and snouts
Wolf:
Tails hang low and never curl.Β
Long legs and large paws
longer snots
But its also true that all dogs are distant related to wolves and share their
qualities and some insticts.Β
i think wolves are facinating but they aren't worth a fanbase LOL

Physical features DO make a difference. That's what the term "looks like" MEANS. Whether their Phsyical features look simmilar or not.
Birds desended from DINOSAURS. Do BIRDS look like dinosaurs to you? (and no, I am not just talking about the bird-like dinosuars. I mean ALL of them.)

Everything came from one common ancestor, and by your logic, you are saying that something MUST look like their densendent. So by your logic, you are saying every animal, plant, fungus, and bacterium looks exactly the same.

I love Shiba Inus for their cuteness and intelligents. They do not look like wolves. In fact, they look more like foxes or cats. Akitas, they look more like a wolf but not exactly.
