As usual, one of my sudden moods. I started out seeing my shadow as I got out of the shower, with my night lamp on the floor (set up so I could sort my mail)And so..
My rock candy's silhouette looked so cool against the wall, and when I finally figured out how to shoot the guitar's shadow, I thought I should pose as well.
I haven't decided how to post-process these yet. I have thought of ways, but all ideas are welcome.
P.S. There are only these 4 shots. I am thinking of making a whole series for a story per someone's recommendation.
*note: There is no screen involved in this set, I keep getting messages about this!

The shadow play is in itself very catching for me, but along with your storied description (something I love attaching to my submission here as well), I was sold on this one. I love them all, but my eyes constantly float back up to the upper-right shot, where everything is so captivating.

It's a jealous making image (all of them this time) in the sense that I wish I was there getting shots of my own, though I don't mean that lecherously, seeing as you said you just exited the shower. But just the idea and the fun that it looks like you had in making them... plus, that upper right shot... man, that gets me everytime!

I would probably brighten it up a bit but that's only because I tend to make my pictures super colorful. I need more color in my life!

I love the idea,it's pretty original. tho the only thing i would suggest is just to try to make the sillouhette stronger. so the image is more dynamic, i have taken self portraits and it's all about trial and error. lighting is very important it can make an ordinary pose look amazing. You have alot of creaivity i can tell, you could come up with some awesome shots, just keep at it! by the way the rest of your port is fantastic too!

Thank you Rob. I have no idea how I took the shots actually. The shadows were hard to do.. I kept taking one of my guitar until the shadows actually SHOWED in the image.. lol.
But yeah, I know what you mean about lighting. It's the basic (and most important painting tool!) hah..
Although.. you have to understand.. it's the first self portrait(s) I've taken where I took MORE than one shot.
