Very interesting composition. I like that that unknown thing could be anything. So it has several meanings and forms, everytime i could find something new to me.

I like this because it could be anything:
A hole in the bottom of a steampunk universe, a portal leading to a world of machines, the only window in the cell of some cyborg super-criminal... anything.
It's just that ambiguous.

It's been said before but it is very reminiscent of tool. I see a lot of alex grey in this piece. It would be like if alex grey was the cinematographer for the silent hill movie you'd see scenes much like this. Ha ha. That's about all i can tell you, abstract art is very subjective thus I cannot really tell you how to improve on yourself. I like the look a lot though.

Thanks, hadnt heard of Alex Grey b4, just googled and checked him out, interesting stuff, a bit phychadelic for my taste but I like the shapes,lines and symmetry he uses. Love the feel and design in Silent hill so im happy

yeah at first glance it is rather psychedelic, but once you break down the pieces it's really amazing what he does. He's a really intelligent guy and I love reading what he says about his pieces. He's a cool cat. Silent hill was shit in regards to actual story and what not, but i was rather fond of the camera work and what not.

films based on computer games rarley (if ever) have good stories, there are some really bad ones Doom, Alien Vs Predator and rez evil are all ok in the aesthetics department but as films they are shit! thought Silent hill was ok story wise, not outstanding but watchable I love the look of the film though

Cheers bud,could be, I did toy with the idea of putting a figure sort of pushed up against glass across the doorway/portal but decided against it and left it more open to the viewer to decide what was going on, glad you like
