I remember when I first saw this episode and actually felt a little of the shock from Homer, he was so spooked and the corpse looked quite gruesome. You can just imagine finding a body yourself like that in real life.

Aw yeah, me too. I almost fell off the couch when I first saw it, one of the only cartoon scenes that ever scared me.
