Once upon a time, Dick Grayson, also known as Nightwing, was patrolling the city when he got into a rough fight with some villains. He managed to defeat them, but not without getting a few bruises and cuts. So, he decided to take a break and patch himself up.
As he was tending to his wounds, he noticed a snake-like creature watching him intently. It was Kaa, the hypnagogic snake from the Jungle Book. Kaa approached Dick and started speaking in a soft, hypnotic voice, telling him to relax and listen to his words.
Against his better judgement, Dick found himself getting drawn in by Kaa's voice. He felt himself getting drowsy and before he knew it, he was completely under Kaa's spell. Kaa used his powers of hypnosis to make Dick do his bidding
