this is another part of my 3d final, which i turned in today.
the project was to create something functional out of recycled paper.
it's a lamp (duh) made entirely out of paper. the bottom part of the lamp is what 2.5 years as a bio major looks like. the shade is made out of my art history slide printoffs, which actually looks super cool when lit up.
i love lamp!

awesome! does the middle part go all the way to the bottom or is it just the paper supporting it all?

the paper is bookbound around a paper towel tube- the lighting stuff is just the bulb thing on a cord and the cord runs through the paper towel tube and out the bottom.
