"Sometimes we are challenged with the toughest situations when we least suspect them.
More often than not, we come unprepared, untrained, and worst of all unwilling to try.
The path to success is often a rocky road and the difference between failure and success can be the difference between a centimetre and an inch . That extra centimetre plus is nothing in the short of things, but when backed up with the miles of road journeyed, for many... it's asking for too much.
As with many, my path was overlooked by a loving family, looked at with critical eyes, not always agreeing with decisions I made in life. The biggest being my choice of career (or lack of). I come from a family of intellectuals, and not to blow my own trumpet I inherited the same brain that got my fore-fathers into some of the most powerful positions in the world.
My place should have been with them, but my heart had other plans and soon enough I wound up here. Ever since I was little, I enjoyed the emotions that rushed through me when free running. And often wondered if there were a way to share this experience. If my family felt the way I did when taking that leap, they'd understand more, the same feeling father gets when his company smashes their sales goal every year.
Slowly but surely, my intellectual studies became less and less important to me, and through that I inherited my first pokemon, through pokemon training, I learnt to be more responsible and even enjoy the company. Mar in particular, loves my passion, often joining me.

So…this dream worlds thing is one of those tasks that I didn't really see coming. My aunt and uncle applied on my behalf and before I knew it I was sent a welcome letter. You'd probably expect me to be angry but I understand that they had good intentions, and hey, maybe I can use this event as a platform for my future.

EXTRA NOTES ABOUT FLINT
As stated on the character sheet, he is very sociable, he loves to go out for a drink and is a pretty big part of the nightlife, he's…kind of a lightweight though and his friends often take advantage of this fact. He comes from a middle class family so money is no obstacle. It should also be noted that Flint, LOVES his family, he has the upmost respect for them, and a lot of his drive comes from coming from a strong family background.

Erin: Erin is a family pet, and through her often silly front she has a very stern side. A side Flints not really fond of.

Mar-Lee: (Just called Marlee but Flint separates the names when he is talking to the individuals) is a short beaked Doduo. Seen as a genetic mutation, their beaks tend to stop growing earlier on in their lives, growing only a few inches longer upon evolution. Despite this apparent disadvantage, their beaks are slightly hooked in shape something they've learned to adapt to and use to their advantage. This hooked shape becomes more dramatic upon evolution.

Mar (feather head) is highly confident and brash, usually quick to act and not quick to think. Loves to go on runs with Flint, hates being put back in his pokeball. *often dodging attempts*.

Lee- is....well a mess, terrified of the world and everything in it, Lee relies heavily upon his 'twin' to get by. Lees' signature move is Uproar, a move only ever used when he is pushed beyond terrified, to which he lets out a blood-curdling scream that can go on for a very long time.

More often that not, only Mar actually attacks in battles.

Tyke is a six week old Electrike found on the streets, his boundless energy is what attracted Flint to taking him along, he's got a lot to learn, only just getting used to his 'type'. Flint sometimes uses Tykes 'cuteness' to get out trouble. His tails are constantly wagging, generating static electricity.
