Not bad for a first attempt. Can't say I've done much better, as much as I've tried - I really wanted to use Flash for War Machine, but I realized at my skill level I wouldn't have the time. (Drawing one decent picture takes forever without the right tools.)
Do you have a Newgrounds account, by any chance? That's really where you want to be if you're going into Flash animation.

But I'm not any good either. I play around with it a bit. It would take me FOREVER to animate one of my drawings... I put WAY too much detail into them

Most people on Newgrounds aren't good at Flash either. That said, it's a better resource for Flash users than deviantArt. Both sites have their specialties - dA hosts Flash, but is primarily an art site, and NG has art, but is first and foremost a Flash site. Having an account on each gets you the best of both worlds.
