When the Min army started their Great Campaign and moved across the land destroying towns and kingdoms, it was the Mangerians, despite their small numbers, who stopped them from moving into the northern lands--an act that ultimately led to their destruction. The powers that surfaced in the following years for the most part gave the Mangerians a wide berth and respected their borders.
