Wow, I saw this effect some time before and found out just now it's name is and how to apply it digitally. I've seen a few dozen here at DA but your image is one of the most convincing ones to me.

um mal in `pyros comment einzustimmen...
ich habe schon bei dem bild mit dem baum gedacht,
dass mich das ganz an ein modell erinnert.
das liegt vielleicht an der schΓ€rfe der einzelnen bildteile,
die sicherlich noch extremer wirkt, weil die randbereiche unscharf sind..
