Hi,

I'm not a pro doing tribals but I guess I can give you some tips:

Tribals are quite hard to do if you ask me, of course depending what kind of tribal you are doing.
They include lots of clear and simple lines and shapes but they're still very complicated.

I like to use lots of long and sharp lines and also include some very round shapes too.
I recommend that you Google tribals so you can see all the different types of tribals and by that you get the idea of what kind of tribal you want to draw.
Also Youtube can be helpful when you're drawing these because you can see how some lines or shapes are made.

I think the best way to do these are just starting to draw them and thinking every line and shape you're making.
Specially if you are doing a tribal where the lines go under or over each other, then you must think where each one is going.
And the coloring should be made so that it looks really that they go under/over.
I usually first do a sketch with pencil and after that marker.
