Description
This is for #LeftHandedArtistsβ 2013 Contest: Think different! You should really join the contest, especially if you are left-handed.I must have created intelligent life, because this creature has a life goal: to annoy me. Whenever I left the room and put this on the table, it was on the ground and broken when I came back.
I made this with thread spools, double-sided tape, pipe cleaners, a box and 2 buttons. I also used 2 mirrors for the picture.

I really dig the found art in this humanoid. It looks like it could skate around the room on it's spools. The pose is really working for me. I'm reminded of Sesame Street in the early 90's when they would animate cool things and bring them to life. Even though your piece isn't animated, it really comes to life in this image.

These are neat. Β Ever think of doing a stop motion animation with them?

Thank you very much.
Doing a stop-motion......that would be a good idea. Do you know what software you can use for stop-motion?

You can do stop-motion with windows movie maker if you have the patience for it, all you really need is to be able to take a ton of pictures of every little motion. Just compile the pictures and set the rate at which they change in any movie editing program, and there you have it.

Now this is what I call thinking outside the box! What a clever idea! I applaud you for making such interesting pieces of art out of so few items. They kind of remind me of futuristic beings, and the one in the back makes me think of WallE.
Awesome work. ^^

It's probably contemplating brain teasers like how many angels can you fit on the head of a pin, or how to pass a camel through the eye of a needle. ;D
