1. This is off topic, but i can't find my original reply in the comment section. Odd.
2. Yes, she's swiss.
3. To my understanding of Switzerland, the average Swiss citizen is as "Swiss" as 98% of Americans are "American". The country was basically a confederacy of peoples trying to get away from the despots in surrounding nations, Italians, French people, but primarily Germans and Austrians. Its comparable how how I, living in Northern Michigan, lived in alpine style village and cabin rather than a teepee.
4. To my understanding of Europeans, they identify more based on their heritage than their residence. I remember reading of Oskar Schindler, the German entrepaneur, was born and raised in Checzkloslavakia but was accepted and identified as German. I mean, theres a chance that she has no germanic heritage, but nobody knows.
5. And most importantly, what do you have against beer and soft pretzels?
