it was a terrible day for splash, it was april fools day and he got pranked by moby, who purposely pull a naughty april fools prank on splash that ended up turning into a wrong path. splash never really heard of april fools before, although, he heard that from skye when she told him about april fools prank, but not that kind of prank he expected. He was treated as a victim back from the outside land when the stray bullies tried to threaten him before he became part of the merpup member of puplantis, he never really heard of april fools day when he was a small pup until now. after that horrible prank incident from moby, he cried miserably as he was coverd in squid ink, skye and coral felt bad for him, they know that he doesn't like the way people treated him to harshly. so they took him back to the castle to get him cleaned up and would do anything to cheer him up.
