Sorry for the inactivity on my Alphario manga page uploads. Was busy preparing for my very first non-Alphario cosplay... this!I've been fascinated with Brawly since the original Ruby and Sapphire games (and anime) came out, and the remake just made him a lot cooler. So I decided to try to make him my test subject, and boy, was it full of problems.
I've been scammed twice while preparing for Brawly. I ordered a pair of Vibrams which never arrived (the money was returned to me, thanks PayPal), but my friend pointed to me another pair of surf boots which looked really identical to what Brawly was wearing in the game, so I ordered it and did some paint jobs, and I love the result. The wig also posed some problems, and until now I still haven't retrieved the money from the scammer. This new one needs more work, but this does the job for now.
How do you like it? Did I do Brawly justice?

Not bad at all; Brawly could be a difficult gym leader at times, unless I had somehow managed to evolve my ever-present Ralts into a Kirlia (which would make him very easy instead).
Now go surfing with your Makuhita! (Or, you know, on your own.)
As for the cosplay itself; the clothes match, but you could probably have picked a better pose: Brawly always struck me as being energetic (in the games, anyway; I don't really remember what he was like in the anime, and don't think he got very much screen time), so this feels a little... too lazy, perhaps?
