Emulating the thoughts of the dead
Blasts of wind whip up my hair
Enraging the tides of despair
A glance into the mind and a glimpse of a kiss

From this chilling darkness

That is enthralling me

Chained down to this mælstrom
That we call hell
Flames lick at my only weapon;
My power to yell
The fiery inferno approaches rapidly
As this hatred burns inside of me
Beat me with heat and I'll scream
For liberation from this hellish dream
Won't let this fire steal my time
I just wanna break free
From this incinerated state of mind

That is ensnaring me

Chained down to this mælstrom
That we call peace
I know it's false freedom;
A sickening madness that will never cease
But with all this hate and alienation
A manic need for your intoxication
A putrid hate for all but your own seed
How can we really say that we are free?
We've got nothing but our boredom to lose
So please tell me - why don't we choose?

From this out of control "reality"
