Dear lord, randomly updated picture for real. I mean why? Why him?? Good question! Uhm... just because I love to draw his hair maybe? Hm yeah maybe... but I think I just felt like developing my angel's costumes and designs that I suddenly felt like doodling on the old sketch of Raphael I had somewhere in my storage.
I like Raphael, though I love all my archangels and Michael is still my fav, but I think Raphael is most fun to draw. o u o
There are still so many thinks I want to change on his outfit, probably put some more details into it, most of all patterns and fabric details. I somehow feel like putting something into his hair and I am still not sure how exactly I want his shine to look like. Should it be pure light? Something related to his element? (wind) Or probably a randomly flying metal ornament thingy? Argh! No plan, have to think about it, have to make more concept doodles. > 3 <
At least the colours seems good so far...

Oh, my lovely archangel, Raphael! Doesn't he look beautiful? I love his calm and friendly persona. His voice and songs shall be the most beautiful! His breath can heal all wounds and the way he goes will always be the savest.

I am still working on the concept, probably I draw a better version of this, with a koi carp in the front, jumping and splashing some water. (because the fish is one of his symbols and a red koi would be a good contrast to the rest of the picture) Usually he has got peacock wings... but they are so f*cking difficult! xP Anyway, hope you like him!
