Ok I know this isn't all that great but yeah, its probably not even the first of its kind on here.. but still... i figured someone might find it of some use... Please comment... It's my first tutorial.... AdAmRelated content

i know it got lost in one of the many many deviant art transitions, maybe i'll remember the process enough to rewrite it one day soon

It won't get you all the way there. but basically you
1. Filter > Render > Clouds
2. Filter > Pixelate > Crystalize
3. Filter > Stylize > Find Edges
4. Create a new layer under your edges
5. Render some more clouds, adjust them to have a nice earthy color
6. set edge layer to multiply.
