Description
Narwhal was at a fast food place for lunch during the afternoon on Saturday. She was eaten some chicken that she ordered at a table by the window. She gazes outside at the cars moving by and wonders why everything moves so fast when it is often better to move slower. Anyway, as she was eating she felt something hit her head. She looks on the ground and picks up a balled wrapper. She look around to see who it was that was littering, but the only person she saw was a girl that was sitting down a few tables from her.

The girl had blue eyes that were the same shade as her hair which was grown to the shoulders. She was in orange clothing from head to toe. Orange shirt, pants, shoes, wristbands. Everything was the shade same of orange. Orange and blue were as interesting combination in Narwhal’s point of view. Looking at her table she saw a huge pile of balled wrappings on one end and over 100 hamburgers on the other end that have yet to be eaten. She saw her belly which was sticking out like it was carrying 6 babies.

She was chewing a hamburger roughly with an angry expression. When she finished it she balled the wrapping and tossed it aside. She then grabs another hamburger from the pile and starts tearing into it. Narwhal walk over to her table and sit across from her. “Are you okay?” She asked her. The girl glares at Narwhal for a few minutes then swallows her food. “I’m fine. I don’t need your concern.” she replies meanly. She swallows the rest of the hamburger and grabs another on from the pile near her.

“You having issues?” Narwhal asked. “I’ve seen this kind of thing before. You’re probably going through a hard time and you don’t like it. You don’t want others to help you out. So, it results in you stuffing your face with a couple hundred or so hamburgers in an attempt to digest your feelings with it.” she tells. The girl looks at her and stops chewing. Her expression softens and in puts the half finished burger on the table. “Wow, are you psychic or just a good guesser?” she asks more gentle this time.

Narwhal smiled reassuringly. “I’m just familiar with this kind of thing. I had this kind of problem a few times before. I ate a ton of food to get rid of the feelings in me like you’re doing now. I’m Narwhal by the way.” she told the girl. “I’m Mari.” said the girl. “So Mari, what’s the problem you’re having?” asked Narwhal. “Well, to put it simply it was an argument with some girls at the park. They told me that I should see a doctor because I’m suffering from gluttony. I can’t help being a glutton and I’m upset about it.” Mari answered.
“Yeah, I go through the same stuff sometimes. Don’t you enjoy eating though?” asked Narwhal. Mari nodded. “Yeah, it’s a favorite hobby of mine. I like to eat a lot of food and see how much I can eat before I can’t continue.” she explained. “I do the same thing too.” said Narwhal. “Really? Mari said surprised. Narwhal smiled. “I actually have a rubber stomach and an insanely high metabolism. I can eat half my weight in food and digest it in the time it takes a normal person with a normal meal.” she said.

Mari kept staring with surprise. “You kidding me? You don’t look like that at all. Though it makes since with what you just said. Wait, what do you mean rubber stomach?” she asked. “It basically means that no matter how much I eat my stomach will keep expanding outward like it was rubber. It keeps going until I’ve had enough to eat.” explained Narwhal. Mari laughed a little. “That’s an interesting thing right there. You’re saying you’re born to consume food. Meanwhile, I had to work my way up to eat a lot.” she concluded.

Narwhal laughed at the remark. She turns to the pile of burgers on the table that are still fresh. “Are those the one pounders with everything on them? She asked. “Yep, normally one burger will be enough to fill a normal person, but I manage to eat about 50 of those.” answered Mari. She feels her extended belly. “I gained 50+ pounds and I still have to eat the next 100+ burgers. But, now that I’m calmed down I feel like I’m going to explode.” Mari finished her half eating burger in her hand.

“So, you eat better when you’re excited in one way or another. That’s a trait that you beat me with. If you use that to your advantage you can easily win any contest that involves eating.” said Narwhal. Mari smiled at the compliment. “Thank you for saying that. But, now that I’ve calmed I’ll never be able to finish these burgers. It probably would have been better if you waited till after I was finished.” said Mari. “Well, I can’t argue with you at that.” said Narwhal.

There was a pause. “Couldn’t you just return the food if you don’t want it?” asked Narwhal. “Apparently not. This place as a rule that you have to eat what you order. I can’t leave till I finish all of these burgers. Plus, I already paid for this and leaving them would mean I wasted my money. So, I’m stuck eating these even though I’m full now.” Mari told her. “Oh. You seem to have gotten yourself into something while you’re infuriated. If you want I’ll finish your burgers for you. That way you didn’t waste your money.” said Narwhal.
Mari looked at the burger pile for a moment. “Alright, help yourself. If you can eat all of this it would be a big help to me.” she said. Narwhal smiled and grab a burger. She starts eating it and finishes it fast so that she can grab another. After two hours Mari couldn’t remove the look of shock on her face as she saw Narwhal eat the last hamburger and pats her belly with a pleased smile on her face. Her belly was over twice the size of Mari’s and it weighted 100+ pounds from all of the burgers.

“You weren’t lying.” said Mari, unable to take her eyes off Narwhal. Narwhal laughed at Mari’s expression. “I don’t lie when it involves eating. Thanks for letting me eat your leftovers.” she said. “But, now that I’ve done that I won’t be able to move for a few hours.” Mari laughed at that remark. “Yeah, I can imagine as much. I’ll use my excitement as an advantage like you said and beat you in a contest soon.” she proclaimed. “I’ll look forward to that.” said Narwhal with a smile.
