They protect their aspect and sort of decide how much other players/heroes can interfere with it.
For example: Β In my trollsona's session, Marduk is a guard of time. Β He protects timelines and prevents others from time-traveling and pretty much screwing things up.

They'd have to defend the different planets/meteors important to their session and would probably allow or prevent travel through space for their team.
