THIS IS NOT YAOI!!!! If you think it is, please do not comment about "OMG THEY R LIK SO MADE $ EACHOTHR!!!!!" Because since that was not my intention I don't want to hear it. Basically, if you post about their "Yaoi relashionship" I'll know you didn't read this and I'll most likely point it out to you that it is not.If you don't like long disclaimers and descriptions, then just don't post it and you'll be spoared. Elsewise, I'll berate you will incessant babble about how this image does not relate to yaoi in any way VERY great detail.
Are they kissing? NO.
Are they nekked? NO.
Are they fawning all over eachother? NO.
If anything it could be interpreted as Kira killing him, but it's not.

This picture is but another illustration for my Death Note fanfic, in which Light is a Shinigami and L and Near are angels (with a few others as well).
Light is jealous of the attention L is getting from God (The fic is an alternate universe people, it can HAPPEN!) and so he decided he would "push him off his heavenly perch"... AKA: Make him a fallen angel.
THIS is what spawned from that scene. Though Light feels somewhat bad about sending L down to earth (fallen angels cannot get back to heaven on their own) he thinks it's right.

Had Light never found the Death Note, I think L would have eventually found his talents in the Police force and taken him to work together on the toughest cases, as they did in the Yotsuba Arc.

I loved it so much to see L and Kira working together and being friends... I was like "may this never end! please!"
Probably you noticed as well that Kira's face looks more "kawaii-like" and innocent when he loses his Death Note memories... when he is in "Kira-mode" (xD ) his face looks so evil and kinda paranoiac.

To be honest, I just started drawing Death Note...early last week, or maybe late the week before, and since then I've printed a TON of reference pictures for ALL OF THEM. Mostly L, Light, Near, Kira (different expressions) A couple of Matsuda, and a few of Matt and Mello. Also had to print disney princess pictures for references (L is BeLLe -get it?!- Light- Aurora, Cindermello etc.) then I needed some refs for Blind Justice and I browsed for an hour to get the feel of "War and Peace" JUST right! *pulls out hair* Ink costs are going to kill me....

XD The ink costs........I don't really pay attention to those cause I don't print 'em. I get my sis to draw them out for me that way we don't waste ink printing.

In my house, I'm the only one who draws well (or so they tell me, they refuse to believe they could do it too) So I'm their supply of fanart when they run out of eyecandy online.
That being said, I have a LOT of practice. Been copying fanarts since I was little, and I've been able to do fanart for...well forever now!

My dad paints abstract art, though I can't understand abstract to save my life! I simply cannot do it! My parents always used to take us to art galleries and such so perhaps that added to my desire to draw. I used to cover my school papers with endless pictures, annoying the crap out of my teachers.
