I finally got some time to color this. I really pleased with it (except for the lighting effects produced by that little eco crystal in his staff. i screwed that up good) I wish his cloak turned out a bit better too, it doesn't look as nice as the rest of him, especially in the scanned version.Related content

I actually think his cloak worked out rather well, it gives it the look of some sort of fabric. And the little eco gem the aura around I think is perfect nothing wrong with this artwork at all

But just a quistion..
Do you think you could make a baron praxis art work?
Or mabye Damit what whas hes name!?
the bad guy in jak 3. Erol! yes that was hes name right? you know that mechanical humen?
The one that was in jak 2 a general or a oficer.
and in jak 2 the main bad guy.
That would be realy cool if you made erol.

He is completely independent of Mar's lineage. Damus (who was somehow linked to Mar's house, but was not a genetic decendent of Mar) was originally the leader of Haven before he was overthrown and exiled by Praxis (who was possibly of some relation to him, i don't recall if that was ever clarified in the game). He became the leader of spargus around the same time Jak arrived in Haven in Jak II, assumeably because most of Spargus's occupants were Haven loyalists exiled by Praxis.
In my imagined history, Spargus was once the hegemon (primary power) of Jak's world, and this man was the king of Spargus during Mar's rule in Haven. The land Haven was constructed on was controled by Spargus, so Mar had to get a grant from this King before he could begin construction and establish the Haven Protectorate.

ahhhhhhhhhhh yes this is all comin back to me, its been a while since i brushed up on the jak facts. spargus seems like it has some serious history. but did this king previously control all of the world including haven city? or was haven just a town around now and then they switched roles sortof in power distribution?

the town of Sandover was renamed Haven once Mar built the wall and eco grid because it was a "safe-haven" for refugees displaced by the metalhead invasion. After Spargus fell to metalhead siege, Haven was the last secure city on the peninsula.
