Surprised it's not done yet xD This was something I was thinking about within days of the episode and I was apparently not the only one ^^So what if Past Sins would be retold but with Daybreaker instead of Nightmare Moon? I thought it'd be an interesting idea.
I tried not to copy Nyx exactly but there are some things that might be taken from her design, especially the natural design. With the disguised form I thought it'd be cute with a little hairpin with a sunflower xD
The name Helia comes from Helios, the god of Light or Sun and seeing Nyx is an entity of darkness and night, I thought it'd be just fitting ^^

I hit a wall with the fanfic, I am at the part where her disguise is being made and I need the exact term for her dress/shirt thing. If I don't phrase it right I will make Coco Pommel look foalish.(Also I need the exact coloration scheme I think its Salmon with a rose pink trim at the collar but I need to know for sure.)

I think that kind of shirt is a polo? I don't exactly know the term either as I'm not English originally. The trim is salmon pink and the rest is a sunset orange.

On what grounds do you not deserve to not ask him? You've been making these comics for years. You're kinda the longest running content creator that hasn't stopped making Nyx content that I'm aware of.

Unfortunately I just feel like everyone has kinda abandoned Nyx altogether besides a few individiuals such as yourself. If we never made anything because we felt it might mooch off of something else I don't think we'd ever get anything done.
Apologies for bringing up Undertale but if you're involved aware of that fandom, the "Disbelief Papyrus" AU (alternative universe) had its 'ownership' given away to another after an amazing animation for it and also because of the original owner losing interest in their fandom.
What I'm trying to get at is it's much better to spread a story or to extend upon it than to let it go because no one wants to feel bad using it. I always hate myself for using "memes" in serious discussion even if I'm using the original meaning but it's spreading a meme I suppose. If it stops being spread, it well dies. I'd just rather not see that happen. Every other major 2011 fanfic is seemingly more relevent than Past Sins has been these past few years. Most noticably Fallout Equestria has several dedicated games and is still pumping out content in large scale such as animations or art.
It seems Past Sins only ever attracts critism now anyway. Unfortunately it has become a 'joke' and that's what makes me the most upset.

This is just me, but why would he write that story? I don't see how or why anything would really change all that much. The story has already been told in Past Sins, so why write a story that's rather similar?Β
