This be my submission to 's contest! (omg, got 1st place! THANKS, EVERYBODY!! )
I decided to make it with Strawberry Fields Forever for the simple reason that it's one of my very faves Beatles songs and it always inspires me on a special way, so all that is reflected on this picture.
I decided to only draw John because, like Paul once said, this song really is John, but I wanted a second person also, I thought of drawing Paul, but then I was going to feel sorry for George and Ringo So that's when an idea popped in my head...what if I drew myself? (or at least a girl that SORTA looks like me xD) and so that inspired me to make a story that explains the meaning of this picture and why I am there..so I wrote a little poem! Ya know I am not a writer, lol, but I'd like you to read it anyway

"Ever so curious, I just had to accept his invitation. “Let me take you down”, he’d say. I stepped inside his fantasy world, that only he could see. His world of imaginary and dreams. I knew magic existed, but I’ve never experienced it like this before. I was always the dreamer kind of girl, but I never dreamed of such place, where everything could be as you wanted, where nothing was real if that’s what you wanted. This place was Strawberry Fields. And with him, eyes closed, imagination wide-open, I just knew I wanted to stay in Strawberry Fields… Forever."

Hehe, ok, there's that! As for the rest of the drawing, made with colored pencils and the sky with watercolors. That on the center pink ark is Japanese for: 1st line- Strawberry Fields Forever, and the 2nd line- Nothing Is Real.
