You should try playing Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel.

He originally appeared as a villian in the long forgotten series: "Aero the Acrobat"

But Aero's games sucked because the levels were LONG, Tedious, and also the music made your skin (or fur) crawl backwards! X_X;

Zero's game which is also Aero's 3rd installment dominated the whole bunch but then the creators decided Aero and the crew wasnt a sale anymore so they pulled the plug on them.

Also Bubsy even aired in a short lived cartoon, starring Bubsy and his crew from Bubsy 2! (Hey that rymes! GO ME!) and also... I never gotten a chance to watch it X_X

BUT I do remember a time where Bubsy's cartoon apperance was a commercial for a SEGA version of Bubsy: Claws of the furred kind. He even delievered his catch phrase any Bubsy fan (such as myself) know and love:

"WHat could possibly go wrong?" .....until a TV fell on his head.

Heh, I remember Bubsy. His games sucked, though. >< But that's okay, it's nice to see forgotten characters come out of the woodwork every so often, and he looks a lot better here than he did in Bubsy 3D, for sure.

The first Bubsy game "Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind" wasn't really that bad. "Bubsy 2" was good, but not as fun as the original. He also had a game on the "Atari Jaguar" called "Fractured Furry Tales". "Bubsy 3D" was the one, that might have made his popularity deminish. In my opinion, i think his side-scroller games were more popular than his *shudders* 3D game. No offense to other 3D games out there.

I think that may be my problem. The first and last Bubsy game I played was Bubsy 3D, and that kind of turned me off the series. That was also my last exposure for a while too. I should look into some of the emulators and see if the first few games can make me happy, now that I know that only the last game was really horrible.

You might have to search quite a bit to find some working ROMS and emulators. =3

I just need to find out what system he was on. I already have working arcade and SNES emulators the way it is.

Actually, I do have some ideas... heres one of them Manical dude

Using that "NAP TIME" picture from Toni-the-Mink's gallery. (Or my favorites) How about you do a picture of the Arcadia champions (The entire group you see there) plus Yoshi and Conker (You should know them)

I want the picture to look like they're posing for a group photograph shot. If you succeed then i'll colorize any inked (B/w) image you have! ^__^

Will you accept my challenge?

That's hilarious!! Did you color that with markers?! Nice job!

spongefox In reply to TawnytheFox [2005-07-13 06:12:22 +0000 UTC]

Yes, except for the sky. I colored that on Photoshop. The pic went through this process;
1.sketched out in pencil
2.transfered to another piece of paper via lightbox and pen.
3.colored with markers, while the sky was colored in Photoshop.
