For a simple sketch you've exhibited a great deal of improved talent and understanding in the field of illustrative character art. Though they are not your characters, your portrayal of them is excellent and you add a lot of life to each one. The way Spongebob is expressed in both body and facial language is humorous and a nice example of how much you've improved. It has the charm of the show within it and of course your own personal touches on top. The same would be said about Squidward as well.
It would be nice to see this with some colour added to this design in the possible future.
