Sonic Unleashed; "Captive"- part 2 - By Sponge Fox

The next morning,Sonic was still a bit unconscious after the "shock treatment" last night. He slowly awakens, to find himself not only still in his "fashion accessories" (muzzle, choke/shock collar and bracelet combo), but inside some sort of rounded cell.
Outside, some people were discussing something. Sonic; still a bit weak from the shock, slowy made his way to the front of his cell. Try as he might, he couldn't hear a thing. As not only was the cell sound proof, but unbreakable.
"We've mangaged to take a blood sample from the creature while it laid helpless." "Put it under the microscope, and we'll begin anlayzation." To the scientists' discovery, they find out that it's hedgehog DNA. "It seems to be fused with wolf like DNA as well." Said one scientist. "Wait. If he has wolf DNA in him, wouldn't he have that disease called; lycanthropy?" "Lycanthropy! exclaimed one of the female scientist. Isn't that the made up disease where the person thinks that they are turning into an animal?" "To most it is just a made up disease,but to some, it could be possible." One of the scientists looks over to where Sonic's held. "What shall we do with our little blue friend"?."We'll leave him here, and continue to study him. Those bonds we have shackled to him last night, will expand and contract in sync if he does display any transformation." As they continued talking, one of the scientists manages to go over to the cell unseen, and takes a closer look at their "blue friend". To her shock, she realized that it was none other than Sonic himself. "Oh no" she whispered. "How could this have happened?"
"You there!" Exclaimed one of the scientists. "Get away from that!" "Yes sir." Answered the female scientist in an annoyed tone. "If the hedgehog displays any feral behavior in the lycanthropian state, turn this knob, and a jolt of electricity witll course through his body, as well as activate the choke chain mechanism in his collar ." The female scientist gasps in horror. All the other scientists turn to her, and give her a weird look. "Oh it's nothing." she said a bit nervously. "Just a mild chill." The other scientists turn back and listen. "I'll assign one of you to keep watch for the evening. By the other scientific deduction." He raises his hand... "Eeny Meeny Minny.... Moe!" Points to the same scientist that was looking at Sonic. "You shall be keeping guard on our little friend." Night came, and Sonic transformed once again. He banged on the wall of his cell, but to no avail, as a jolt of electricity ran through him, causing him to collapse. The female scientist felt very hurt in having to do that. Later in the evening, she goes up to his cell. and peeks inside.The beast was in a huddled position, with it's head buried in it's chest, And as if by instinct or something along the emotion lines, the beast began to cry. Like a hurt and abused child. "I'm sorry." The female scientist said in a soft sad tone. Sonic's ears perked up, and he looked. He backed a way... scared, and shaking. "No no. It's alright. I know who you are."
The beast crawls over to the area of the cell where the scientist is, and stares. She reaches into her pocket, and pulls out something small. It was blue, and it had spikes, as well as red and white stripped shoes, and was dressed in a lab coat. "Hello.... Sonic." Sonic was surprised to find out that she knew who he was. Even as a beast. "My name is;...Carolyn. ." She places her hand on the glass."And I'm going to help you get free, and cured." Sonic, now feeling a slight gleam of hope, places his hand on the same area where Carolyn's hand was, and though it can't be seen through the muzzle; smiles.
