not my hero or anything... he was a loose cannon for sure... crazy too... sure could draw tho' -- he was an old-time Comic-con winner, Eisner Award etc.

...his cause of death... I learned accidentally while looking for more on those sketchbooks - seems he got his libido mixed up with his deathwish... I'm beginning to sound odd just writing it down... as to whether you might win something big... who knows - it's kind of a 'turkey-shoot' - Bode created the character that eventually got him acclaim when he was 16... pulled it through underground comics & college (Syracuse) newspapers & finally got picked up by magazines - first 'Cavalier' (he knocked out Robert Crumb), then the National Lampoon... all that by age 21 - I think you have the skills... so... sure... if you can afford a few years of the 'pull-through strategy' - just get millions of hits with your e-comic, be the most popular booth at a comicon & take it from there!

Ok... So that is a slim chance for myself. What scares me was that he was 33 when he died. How was it caused by that "healing"? Did somebody poison him?

better chance for you than for all but a few... & as to Bode', please remember, I only learned of this a couple of hours ago while looking for an old sketchbook drawing he did... they say he died of 'autoerotic asphixiation' & get this... it was in an attempt to 'see God.' Sorry... but, you asked....now I sound like a perv... forget I ever mentioned Bode'

Quite welcome and nono -- I WISH I had an original from a hall-of-famer ... but it's just an old comic book (it's here somewhere!) - always intended to try drawing in the style he used for that story.

Want to know a secret? There were times when I wanted to do some "risque"(Adult) cartoon art, but can't seem to bring myself to do it. I did it a long time ago, but never posted it.Cause I know better.

hmmmm...... maybe collaborate with a writer... come up with a great story that fits your great characters... then come up with 50 more & then maybe lightning will strike
that's the old fashioned way,,, today... I guess you can get a million subscribers on you tube & a million followers on twitter & parlay that into an animator job... it could happen!

I do both ways - on computer and by hand. I think you could easily figure it out just by looking at a certain comic.
