While many like Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto ended their shorts' series in 1953, Donald still continued his shorts career until 1961. Jack Hannah directed all of them up until Up A Tree. With regular production of the shorts ceasing post 1955, there would only be a handful of shorts with Donald with Jack Kinney directing Chips Ahoy, Charles A Nichols briefly directing in 1959, and Hamilton Luske directing the ones in 1961 until the series finally ended in 1961 due to theatrical shorts being less profitable.
Pretty solid end to a wonderful series with one of the most unlucky popular ducks in cartoon history.
