Lawls at crappy background.So. I wanted to draw something
eastery' but not something filled with pink bunnies and bright colored eggs. So I drew the Pagan god , the Horned One
since he's connected with the Spring Equinox.As I'm hoping most of you know, Easter was a Pagan holiday before Christianity took over and made the religion 'evil'. The horned one is actually what early Christians called the devil, hence why today's devil has horns.
But he ain't evil at all, he's the creator of all living things in nature and his horns represent male fertility ;D
I love old religions, they're so much fun to learn about. I think next I'll draw Odin XD He kicks so much ass.

Almost no one I've talked to knows that Easter was originally a Pagan holiday, except for the Pagans that I know x.x And then they argue with me about it when I try to explain that to them >.>

It was a pagan holiday to celebrate the spring equinox which is hte time of all new life, hence why easter has to do with baby bunnies and eggs and duckies

I love how you think, this has so much depth than the easter pictures you see people do. Not that those aren't great in their own right, but you actually thought about this and it really does have more reason
The way you did his amulet is totally AWESOME. And I love his face, I'd sure tap that *SHOT AT POINT BLANK RANGE* XD; The rabbit is sooo cute and he looks so gentle, calm and kind, even with those big, scary horns and long nails. Speaking of which, his horns are done SO well ; ; I envy how you do those textures in them, and in how you generally do trees and vines and such >,<

He's plotting on how and when to bite that finger off that's so close to his mouth. xD Always well with coloring, and I love the baby blues on contrast to the other colors.
