Description
This actually has an entire backstory... I envisioned, like, an alternate-reality Star Trek setting where... well, to make a long story short, the Borg have been driven collectively insane, their bio-implants growing out of control, eventually ripping apart the host's body and necessitating the replacement of limbs. If somebody would like to colour this drawing as practice or something, just let me know and i see what i can do.

Looks like the Mark 13 cyborg prototype. It's a character from an old movie called "Hardware," that kills humans.

Looks like those bug creatures from the game Resident Evil 5 got assimilated by the Borg.

Incredible! I wouldn't have ever dreamed of something like this!
You might want to suggest this to some Star Trek producer

Hm. Kinda similar to a concept of mine. Being that, should the Borg ever encounter an enemy using non-energy weapons they would eventually augment themselves to resist physical weapons - primarily bullets, lethal to them as we've seen in "First Contact."

Cool, you can still see the living creature inside the whole thing. Cool.

Very good. Just pure, brutal, mechanical efficiency.

In response to Jezzak, the borg stay human because they beleive that the ultimate entity is a combination of biologic and technologic life(yeah, i know, too much Star Trek), in response to the drawing, only one word - WOOOOOW

'We are the Borg.
YOUS GONNA DIE!"
No, but really. This is good. I personally always wondered why the Borg always stayed humanoid, other than the fact that Star Trek tries to stay away from CG.

God, that Would Suck! Janeway may never had escaped the delta quadrant with those things on the prowl!
Awsome art!

Gnarly machine.. I'm not sure about the plausibility of machines growing out of control, but it's a cool concept.
