Hell yeah Pokemon. I know I don't post much Pokemon stuff, but the franchise is genuinely a big comfort fixation of mine. So I return to it very, very often, and now I am once again focusing on my Mystery Dungeon OCs.

These guys got a bit of a redesign - mostly a mix of me getting better at emulating their species' official anatomy, but also me adding different details and accessories to keep them both unique!

The Zoroark's name is Decker and he is relaxed by nature. His ability is illusion (duh) and he loves to eat.
The Lampent's name is Kindle and he is mild by nature. His ability is infiltrator and he's highly curious.

Overall, these two are a pretty chill team who've been around in the guild for a while. They don't usually do the toughest missions though, so they end up saddled with helping the rookies quite often.
But don't underestimate them, these two put up quite the fight when needed! Decker rarely uses his illusion abilities (partly because he isn't skilled with them and partly because he doesn't think he needs to rely on them) but most opponents who don't know him, see a Zoroark and then watch him closely, expecting a trick of their senses - only to lose sight of Kindle who's quick to sneak behind enemies, burning them from behind as Decker closes in with shadowy claws. It's Kindle who most is thinking about strategy while fighting, consciously keeping a safe distance. While Decker goes through battles guided by mostly instinct.

They met after they both were left in the desolate, dying wasteland that covered half the continent some many moons ago. Pokemon who once lived there had to flee, sometimes leaving behind eggs (like a lonely, little Zorua egg) ... some Pokemon stayed despite everything, stubbornly surviving (like one pair of Chandelures.)
Decker and Kindle meet and eventually become friends, both agreeing that they should leave the wastes together and become heroic explorers to (hopefully) help make the world a better place!

Slowly the wasteland has been healing over the years and Decker and Kindle often visit it to help the Pokemon there.

They're probably in gold rank. I'm thinking their team name is Team Burnt Berry. Kind of simple and a bit cute, which I think fits their vibe.
