(amazing title I know)
I've been on more of a Pokemon kick recently so

I have a bunch of Pokemon characters that I made when I was younger, and while I don't really have any plans with them, they're fun to remember and improve on their stories/character over time.

These are two characters I've had, they're a Zoroark and a Lampent, and they're a best friend duo who do mystery dungeon type stuff I guess.

I honestly can't remember what their names were exactly. I think the Zoroark's name was Decker, though.

Decker had a rough early life as a Zorua where he wasn't able to get food and it was amazing he didn't starve to death then. I'd go into detail about what was behind the loss of food and stuff but aaaaaaaaa
Now Decker stockpiles berries and eats a lot when he can.
Despite being a Zoroark, Decker doesn't use his illusion abilities much at all, partly because he never learned to how to use them to their full extent, but also because he doesn't really see much point in it. Illusion berries aren't real berries after all.
He might use illusion in a fight occasionally, but even then he'd rather just rush in and attack them.

The Lampent (who I should probably try and dig up his name sometime) was also around the sort of famine that Decker was in. He was a Litwick then, and while he'd usually eat berries or other food to survive, he was a ghost type who could also drain the life out of others to live too - albeit this wasn't possible when everybody's dead or gone.
Eventually he ran into a starving Zorua, but he couldn't bring himself to try leeching off them at all (yeah, he's a ghost type, but not a murderer okay.) So instead Litwick gave the Zorua his last berry, and a friendship was born as afterward they stuck together to try and survive.
Lampent in general. still doesn't like using their life force draining abilities on anyone unless they're a bad guy. And even then he feels like it's a little dirty of a tactic, he'd rather deal with enemies head on in battle alongside Decker.
(also life force doesn't taste very good)

They're kind of inseparable as a team at this point because they've worked together for so long. Their strategy often might involve Lampent using fire to corner criminals into Decker's claws.
Then they spend their reward money on berries, or Decker does at least.

Sorry this image isn't WoF, I've been meaning to do some more stuff with Chimarra (and DayWings actually) but I've been really unmotivated with finishing anything I've started. I'll probably get back to things fine soon.
I hope to at least.
