This was my work for the Artistic journey contest. Expresses gratitude for the ukiyo-e, a constant source of inspiration in my life.moonbeam13.deviantart.com/jour…
It was not accepted.
Many people, like me, have had trouble uploading the work in the last hours of the competition time. The upload service in the page crashed. The file uploading is continuously crashed.. forcing me to repeat the operation several times..
Because of this, our work has not been published.
We used the button "UPLOAD YOUR WORK" in the contest page in time, before the deadline, but the jobs are loaded only after a long long long time….
Technical problem of the site?
plus have not been published on the page of the competition, but only in our DA profiles.
The official rules was it specified that it was also necessary to put the tag of the category, otherwise the work would not be accepted?
I do no thing. Is written in the rules that you have to upload the artwork through this page using the "Upload your work" button or DA murO. Nothing more.
A frequent DA artist has no problem, if they already have experience with other competitions, but an occasional user of DA - like me - is penalized.

That sucks! This work is absolutely *gorgeous*. That contest seemed really bland, and it's original works like these that will make that contest even remotely interesting. It's absolutely their (and the viewers) loss that this wasn't included.

I wanted to do a more refined work. But I got to know the contest few days ago.. so I drawing this on an normal A4 sheet, colored with markers.
Maybe other jobs are better, but I do not like banal and obvious works.
I was a little disappointed by this uploading mistake. Despite the victory was unlikely… too bad that few people will see this.
