Это потому что они весёлые и довольные. Психически здоровый человек не может улыбаться, зная, что ему придётся убивать других людей

Frock and awe: SAS commandos wear burkas for raid on Isis HQ

ELITE troopers disguised in full-length burkas launched a daring attack on Islamic State headquarters, the Daily Star Sunday can reveal.

It's an idea but for this: the UK, america and Germany all suck the same Jewish dick of Soros etc. How exactly do you plan to have these puppets of countries to cooperate with seemingly the only sane state left on this planet. It wouldn't work.

Here, in this picture, stand the two most deadliest forces the world has ever seen.  The names of their Special Forces are feared by all of their enemies.  They are the enemy's worst nightmare, silent when needed, deadly every engagement.  The world's military special forces follow in their footsteps.

Regimental motto, referring to the Rangers' ability to get on with tasks, with little to no prompting, and to recognize the fact that a Ranger volunteers three times, for the Army, for Airborne, and for the Ranger Regiment.
If I'm not mistaken?

The government spends more on their military than the next top 13 countries combined. It makes since that American companies make most of the best stuff in the world.

MadJackalDelta In reply to aFletcherKinnear [2012-02-27 14:54:44 +0000 UTC]

The SAS have been known to wear ACU camouflage whilst attached to Task Force Black (or Task Force Knight as it's now known) to disguise themselves as mainline US forces - here's a good example [link] and some of the other photos on the site show SFSG and SAS wearing a mix of everything from British DPM to Digital MARPAT and ACU.

aFletcherKinnear In reply to MadJackalDelta [2012-02-27 16:55:12 +0000 UTC]

Well that's interesting. I was talking more about their preference for armament and equipment. I always notice SAS using American M4's instead of British SA80's and such.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Willsormiston In reply to aFletcherKinnear [2012-11-03 00:09:52 +0000 UTC]

If I may clarify, the reason why UKSF don't use the L85A2 (SA80) is because it cannot be customised or personalised for a specialised mission. No silencer, special stock, etc can be mounted on it (though more recent versions permit grenade launchers and grips).

It's nothing to do with the quality of the weapon but rather it's lack of flexibility. The reputation for its quality came from when it was first built (Known as the L85A1) and was indeed quite poor until the UK bought H&K and had them work on it many years ago. Now the weapon is a decent, accurate and reliable infantry rifle. Its just not nearly as useful as weapons based on the M4 or C8 as those offer a large variety of options.

As for general equipment, well admittedly US stuff is just better. The UK spends all it's money on researching cutting edge technology for their tanks, shipping and aircraft whilst infantry equipment is a little under-funded.

aFletcherKinnear In reply to Willsormiston [2012-11-03 01:10:27 +0000 UTC]

Yea I've noticed that a lot througout most UK forces. You guys need better chest plates with more MOLLE space, and perhaps a redesigned, more ergonomic and modular version of the L85. I mean it's great that it can carry STANAG magazines and it's probably more compact, but based on what you just said there's obvious room for improvement.
