I like the feeling of the piece of art - and the use of colors. The piece is beautiful, but also kind of scary in a sense. Guy's skin tone is nicely done.

I'd say this piece is equal parts beautiful and nightmarish. His expression is say is it all. WE've all felt this way...and this painting captures it perfectly.

i have always wanted to comment on this drawing of yours...but i guess i have been feeling rather shy about it. >.<
This.....could possible be my most favorite drawing of yours from your whole gallery. Everything seems so peaceful...almost like a peaceful sadness. Also the fact that eveything looks almost glowy and fady.
Arg...i dunno if this all makes sense, i honestly don't feel like i am makeing any sense here. But....wow... this is really breathtaking. i think when i first saw this i litterly felt like my breath was stolen.
Oh...and i am truly sorry about what is happening to your wrists (i am having a fear about Carpel Tunnel now)... i hope they feel better soon!!

i think because the imagery of ophelia is so pervasive, any art that has someone floating in it unconciously brings it up in your mind, lol.
the other one i really like is the 'la jeune martyr' (sp?) by delaroche, same same but better.

This occurs fairly oft in your works - but especially so here in this piece. I love how ethereal this feels. There's something about the closeness to the face that 'brings you in' to associate more to the character. Atop that, the floating in an almost lack of substance gives it this eerie vibe. I

Wow, I love this. I love the random lines you put in your artwork, although I'm sure they're not really random, that's just how I can describe it. I think the sharp and lighter white make a great contrast for the image as a whole, bringing it out more.
I love the color of the water as well. I don't have a good eye for color, and typically I would've started off with a blue (as cliche and blah as that sounds) but the murky-style green really to me sets the mood. It makes you just want to... exhale. A rather large exhale.

Hmm...it's very unique. The colors blend well on the face-it could have used a little bit more on the water. It's a very good painting...the random dark lines enhance the pale face, which I thought was excellent. The only thing I could think of to recommend would probably be...adding a little more to the water. I think this is lovely, though. I hope you don't mind my adding it to my favorites.

This is so incredibly beautiful! And so touching! Tender like Millais' Ophelia, the delicate golden lighting makes it very special indeed; it brings out the subltle pale blue-grey eyes and the misty, murky pinks and greens!It's a wonderful, thoughtful, melancholy image...
