Description
Rain is falling outside my homeMy windows are open, chilling me to the bone
My loves braves the chill in rigid silence
An act of acceptance or an act of defiance?
I stare at her and her quiet form,
The now-empty eyes I used to adore
Now they stare, dark and hollow,
Their colorful occupants long been swallowed
I felt the love she had, deep in her heart.
But I do not regret the day I sliced her apart
The love should’ve been mine, for me and me alone,
The crop of our love we had specially grown,
But she took it and gave my love to another,
And then our crop died, trampled in the struggle
She sits and stares with her cold empty eyes
Her skull strewn with the bugs I despise
Her pallid corpse falls onto the floor
Her missing heart an empty eyesore
Her once beautiful face, bloody and ghastly
She thought she’d outdone me, yet I'm the one laughing!
