Description I had quite a fright when I saw this monster on the wall recently. Is it my imagination, or is it looking at the camera?

Now, the question is, is this a katydid or a katydidn't? Great photo! I love bug photos!

It was pretty large, a touch frightening, was captured with paper and glass, and ejected from the house. Whether katy finally did or didn't is unknown 8)

Ah paper and glass - a tried and true method for ejecting creepycrawlies! ...speaking of which... I need to eject a snake the cat just brought in...

He likes catching snakes and presenting them to us... luckily they are usually harmless housesnakes or molesnakes (the latter this time).

Bwahahah... he wouldn't allow that. We have to keep him VERY distracted while we rescue the snake and let it go outside, otherwise he just brings it right back in. A photoshoot would take too long.
