Rajang's pose is totally stolen from the monster hunter website but i had to redraw the whole thing still xD took ages cos im lazy, generally quite pleased with the outcome and ill probably never draw aerion again.[Edit]
Made the girl smaller to make it look more like shes in the background, was gonna do this before submitting but i forgot, thanks to Fufe [link] who reminded me xD

Now that hes made a comment on the picture i can now also mention that i did the picture because of a Daimyo Cutter idea xglide [link] gave me, forgot to mention it earlier xD

lol, my cat killed a rajang yesterday.
i was using narga s armor (i know, rubbish thinder def, but i wanted to see if i could do it), and i did nekohts one, and i was on my last death, i was stunned, and it was about to use thender ball at my face. my cat ran infront of it, blocked the thunder ball, and whacked it on it's face, and it died XD

nice xD im not sure if elements matter THAT much anyway, i use chameleos armour against rathalos and rathian which has crap fire def, if you dont get hit by its elemental attacks its probably fine (i dont know this for a fact but its worked out pretty well so far?) and rajangs only ever hit me with its fists... "only" >.>

well my pictures a lie XD i do kill it, often but in tigrex armour with the ice sword and sheild (cant remember what its called >< the blue one XD) always stay on the left side and fight offensivley until it goes into rage mode. i use tigrex just for the quick eating and quick sharpen, lemme know when youre going wrong with the tigrex, but thats just how i fight, rajang = left side all the time xD

yeah i have problems remembering to stay to its left, but the tigrex is no problem, with my true devil's slicer... i capture the tigrex with no problems. and i think you mean the final version of the frost saber?
good weapon but i cant use swords and shields to save my life... im a hammer/hunting horn man, and my giadrome balloon is not powerfull enough >.<

ehh im not too good with horns, with a hammer i whack it's head after its shot a ball/beam, roll towards it whenever it does its jump and shooting move and give it another whack to its head, roll under and past its arse whenever it does its swiping fists and run back for another swipe up its arse, and run away when its in rage mode, i spend a LOT longer dodging it with a hammer than a sword and sheild
if i cant aim for its head whenever its shooting on the ground ill just hit its arms, always use a shock trap when its not in rage mode and only aim for its head while in the trap
horns are good but i find myself being able to use a hammer faster than i can with a horn

hmmmm, well everyone is different, i cant use sword and shields to save my life, and personally i find hunting horns to be much more affective for me, and thier attacks ar generally the same, the main problem that i have with doging its fists is im always to its right meaning major pain for me >.< but when its raged, it seems to be even more random in its strikes and another problem would be my pride.... yeah, i consider it wrong to leave a fight unless im one hit from death

xD a lot of the time i find myself rolling towards and under its legs, thats not to say that it works every time but it avoids the fists and its twisting attack, as for rage mode i just run around it until its out of rage, i never leave the area and if theres a big opening ill take it but i generally attack it less because of its donkey supreme kick ><

i hated that kick, it is my hunter's bane, screw the diablos roar, the monkey kick is so much worse

yeah it it uses it a lot less (like never) when its not in rage mode though so im always chasing its arse until it is in rage mode, i might fight another soon actually i havent done any since i got the blade master's armour xD which was a while ago

what armor would you recomend cause my friend has like... some sort of fetish with it and im tired of him dragging me out with him just to get not only his arse kicked off the moutian, but mine electrifried >.<

definately the tigrex armour, mines got quick eating and quick sharpen but thats taking into account that i use a sword and sheild which means i can block, its either that or its the akantor armour with quick sharpen, less openings for eating but it also means less times sharpening because of its skills, theyre both strong for neutral defense just make sure you dont get hit by any of its electric attacks xD

its fine xD if i was bothered id just stop replying XD youre not screwed as such but i just find the quick sharpening and quick eating helps loads, id aim for the tigrex armour first, for a not so rare g rank armour its freakin mega. the only real thing i can advise is just keep in mind it can be a fairly long fight depending on your weapons and being able to survive for 50 minutes and failing would mean more progression in killing a rajang than dying 3 times and failing. (if you understand my wording goddamn i hate my english xD)

-aim for tigrex armor
-dont worry about having too long of a fight because a rajang can take a while
-being able to survive for 50 minutes is a better sign than dying 3 times trying to kill it quickly

length of a fight is not a problem, being able to fight with a friend for a lengthend amount of time is the issue
i prefer living for the fifty minutes but if he kill me twice i ababdon... not willing to take the risk

nooooooo! always take the risk xD just reset the thing when you do die third time. i mean a g rank tigrex, on my own they take me about 40 minutes (im craaaaaap at fighting them)

ehhh im a very cautious person and plus i hate having to go through the whole process of getting it all back in getting onto the gathering hall and then setting up the mission agian, i consider it much easier.
on my own, i can murder the g-rank tigrex easy.... problem is... i feel bad for it.... i know, i am terrible and weird but i have a serious problem with killing something so great or even bothering it.... i know i need help v.v
