Other characters that show up are Ms. Jackson the lynx spider, an unnamed hobo spider; Nurse Pendragon the Scolopendra centipede nurse, an old katydid man and Mrs. Poole the flea lady.
(I'm pretty proud of how this turned out, hahaha.)

I love how some of the characters have more human-ish faces and some don't. It makes everything all the more interesting and unique. I love the doctor's face, especially his eyes.

im sorry i come from canada where there is a doctor shortage. i haven't had a check up in 5+ years, last time i was actually looked over by the doctor it was chicken pox when i was 18 and im 25 now. you can't book an appointment within 6 months.. i've been trying to get papers looked over for months and every time i go in there the waiting room is full of old people... old people complaining about aches and pains that come with getting old. its like wasting the doctors time with a head cold! he can't really fix that! he can prescribe tones of pills but your old and it happens. obviously mis. flea lives in a place with plenty of doctors.

Yowch, that sounds pretty terrible. Yeah, I totally get what you mean, it's so annoying when there's ridiculously long waiting lines to even get an appointment in the first place (I've had this happen with a dentist appointment, grr.)

It hadn't occured to me until just now that females in an arthropodal society would not have quite the same problems as females in a human society. Or at least they'd have more effective ways of dealing with them.
Also, while we're on the subject of insects with body parts getting to silly lengths, you should throw in a stalk eyed fly character some time.

This is true! Especially when it comes to gender ratios (bee and ant colonies; aphids reproduce asexually), lifespans and size differences and whatnot. I get the feeling Ms. Jackson made a meal out of that hobo spider. xD

Centipedes shouldn't be sexy. They're supposed to scare people and make them check their shoes before they put them on because they're terrified of being attacked by one. So why, Spoony, why is Doctor Pesvarus so damn handsome? I'm pretty sure you're the only person who could make bugs so attractive.

I used to have pet tarantulas and centipedes so I guess that could explain why the doc doesn't creep me out that much. But when I grew up in Arizona you'd hear people screaming all the time because there was some giant bug in someones shoes or sock drawers.
