Description Hey, whaddya know? I actually did a colored version!

Here's the sketched version :

poppypetal.deviantart.com/art/…

Ok, I will admit, I did get a little sloppy on the red aura, light, thing... especially Bill's. Set aside, I think I did a pretty good job on coloring this thing. I rarely do that, so this is a huge accomplishment for me.

If you don't know, this is Dipper (the one wearing the blue & white hate) whose being controlled by Bill Cipher (the triangle guy).

IDK why I did this. For fun, I guess.

Hope you guys enjoy!

Gravity Falls is created by Alex Hirsch, and is produced by Disney Channel.

None of these characters belong to me.

Just the drawing.

youre very welcome!

i actually can't remember my favorite episode, or is it because i have none and liked the show as a whole XD

one small critique about it though.

the plot, for me it came out a bit of a lack, specially that mystery solving stuff.

they did showcase the whole mystery solving to be such a big deal to the whole serie which really is that big of a deal but in the end they only actually went solving very few mysteries. the opening made me think of something like scooby doo where every episode has a mystery to solve. The opening theme is very powerful, which should be good. the problem is the whole of the episode couldnt live up so this powerful opening. it's like they condense the whole excitement at the start and at the end but then it leaves nothing for the middle.

but still, overall it's a pretty great show, just me watching it non stop for the whole season (which is like 10 hours) is proof alone how cool this is. I'd say this is a total original, even though the have that same mystery genre, it managed to make a name of it's own which is super impressive. plus the animations are great, the're smooth and incredibly lifelike for a cartoon.

i'd rate it 7.3/10

again thanks for telling me about it XD

no problem.

My perspective of it is that, sure, the actual characters don't ALWAYS solve a mystery, but the audience finds one or two things in every episode. There's always that little tidbit in every episode.

A great example would be that episode with the 8 1/2 president in it (forgot what it was called) when Dipper was reading about the Top Secret fraud. If you pause when it shows that page, and continue reading it, it has something MUCH more valuable than backwards-riding presidents. A giant, all-powerful baby was mentioned.

Just like in The Time Traveler's Pig, which it was shown.

i should had went for the more in depth critique then, i missed alot and made my opinion seemed bias XD

i did mean that, that is i didnt really mentioned it.

and also the fact that the also chose to use the summer vacation timeline and aired it at the said period also set that nostalgic feeling about it.

the opening did emphasize mystery solving so much, that's why the whole of the show should carry it out or it'll be a bit misleading. yes it's true that we get new info in every episode but atleast half of them arent even got by solving mysteries which what they actually emphasized the show to be. the show was great, the only problem was the emphasizing. it sort of mislead the expectance a bit.

but i really liked it up to the point that i rewatched it a few times.

Its kinda like the Thundercats theme then. It shows it all epic, and awesome, but when you watch the show, it doesn't live up to its title.
