Meet Joe!! Joseph Valentine Trieste.
A gentleman who's been living in my head for who knows how long now, and I finally decided to let him out. And the fact that Livi was begging me to draw him had nothing to do with it.

He didn't come out the way I had originally pictured him in my head. I think I'd pictured him with shorter hair, a bit more broad and greasy, and clean-shaven. But this form of Joe came out quite lovely.

He's another character in our manga, and even though he doesn't show up until quite a ways INTO the story, he's very important to the whole thing. He's basically an ex-mobster who escaped the business by basically faking his own dissaperance; He cryogenically froze himself, leaving behind a loving wife and daughter, and a restaurant he'd had since he was a young man in the 21st century. Uhm, in case I didn't make it clear, the story takes place in the mid-twenty second, at least one hundred years in the future. From now.

Anyway, yes. He used to be a great chef, actually, as well as a very skilled hitman and cleaner. Liv stumbled upon him while searching for any unclaimed bodies of old-school mobsters, because Liv feels like they need some REAL knowledge of how it worked. After finding Joe's file, she immediately liked him. He seemed perfect. He was brought back to life and given a job with the apartments, as a cleaner of course, and as one of the chefs! Joe basically runs a smoke house he built in the backyard of the building, smoking any and all meats the tenants might want. To appease Liv, he smoked salmon. The woman IS Jewish after all.

I added a salami because well, the man is full-blooded Italian. As for the pig in his arms, well, I'm not going to tell you who HE is just yet. You'll have to wait.

In closing, another character of many more to come, for a story that will never be.

Also, any comments about Sweeney Todd will be shot. >:3
