Uhm so... Pyrrheus. c:He can turn into a raven and a bat and a kitten sometimes, but you'll probably only see me draw the kitten. Because... well, having three different forms for one character is confusing, and even though it's the same guy in all the forms, it's still confusing. Maaaaaaybe I'll post a picture someday with all three of the other forms. But maybe not. idk lol.
His name is "Pyrrheus" no "Purrheus", the Y just looks weird on the reference sheet. xD
... I'll write about his personality when I'm not so... dumb and tired. D:
Edit: Soooo yeah, I'm gonna make Pyrrheus a roleplaying/drawing character, I'm working on a new reference for a fursona, and his name is Soda Pop. ^^

It's a kind of.. like.. the details get too jumbled up so the basic image of the fursona becomes less memorable.

Wow, lots of colors. Like some people have been reccomending, I'd make in simpler. If I had a picture of my fursona I'd show you, she's simple, yet different. She's also easy to remember because not many people have a kangaroo crocodile mix as their fur XD

Yeah, but DEFINATLY not koalas. All tourists are like aww how cute but at night they are obnoxious beasts! One lives near my house and urg, hate those things. But crocs are sweet, blue fliers are nice, but the boomers are always running across the streets :<

This is really cute and awesomely detailed, which would be fine on a drawing. This picture is really adorable. However, having so much detail on a fursona is a bad idea, and here's why- Fursonas are supposed to represent you in the art world, but if drawing you is such a chore, it defeats the purpose.
Also, when you strive to hard to be original, it really only ends up in a less memorable character. The best they can hope to recall is a black lynx with lots of markings. Whereas, as simpler fursona would be memorable, like a wolf with rainbow dalmatian markings. Bold, simple, easy to remember and easy to draw, providing the owner isn't anal about the position of the spots. It's less "original", but also cute, and not difficult to draw.
I don't say this to offend you. I think this would make a really cute character, but doesn't make a good fursona. People will want to draw your fursona with theirs to show their friendship, but this fursona makes it hard. Again, I apologize if this seemed harsh. I didn't mean it that way. ^_^;;;;;;

Okay how about this.
Keep the ears &the rainbow on the eye.
Make the paw pads green..
Make the eyes green...
and ummmm...
keep the stocking on the tail, but not the others..
&make the markings... random. Just like paint splatters lol.
So only keep: the rainbow on the eye, and in the ears.
And change: the eyes to green, the paw pads to green, and the splatters to random.
Get rid of everything else.
Just for the simple form? :3

I agree that simplifying it (In a way) is a good thing. I definately think making the eye a single color, and random paint splatter markings, are both excellent ideas. You could always make a reference with different choices. Like the eyes could be green, or rainbow colored and have an image of both. That way people doing fanart could choose how in depth they'd like to color.
That would also work for accessories. Just show the different things, and let people choose. Maybe just put a mark by the most commonly used. Gosh with this one, you could have a whole closet set of stockings. That would be fun, and adorable

In the end, it is YOUR character so you can do whatever you want, but I think you'd be more likely to get fanart with a simpler design. And yeah, a flash dres-up would be great! I can only imagine all the colorful stockings

Thats a good simple form. C: I think the front stockings would be the hardest, as far as being too busy, so loosing them on the simple form is a wise idea. C:
