Following the unconditional surrender of the Empire of the Rising Sun, the Soviets and Allies reverse-engineered it's technology, making the two factions stronger than ever before. WW2 soon ended with a Soviet victory, causing most of the world to fall under Soviet influence. Africa was transformed into multiple unions, the strongest being Severnaya Afrika (North Africa), who is a main ally of the Soviet Union. Switzerland was split in two, the democratic western and the communist eastern. Most of Europe was annexed by the Soviet Union.

A few years after the war ended, Sweden and Finland joined together, as to avoid a confrontation from Norway and Denmark , who had become the strongest nations in the Baltic behind the Soviet Union. The Soviets founded the Communist Pact, and the Swedish-Finnish Union decides to join. North Africa joins as well.

-Turkey's movements for empire-
1979: Turkey, a member of the Communist Pact, declares war on all of the Middle East, minus Saudi Arabia, who was a member of the CP at the time. The Soviets agree on sending aid and supplies to help the Turkish advances in Syria and Iraq. French spies alert the newly formed Anti-Soviet Alliance (or ASA) about the Soviet's helping the Turks, to which the members of the ASA, the USA, France, Benelux, Iberia, Italy, West Switzerland, Cyprus, the UK, and Ireland agree on sending aid to the countries affected by the war. The war becomes a Vietnam War-esque battle, as the Turks capture both Damascus and Baghdad, forcing both Iraq and Syria to surrender.

1981: Turkish forces set their sites on Lebanon and Palestine, who quickly mobilize to deal with the threat. However, their armies were not prepared for Soviet Apocalypse Tanks rolling in with the Turkish L-54 lynx tanks. Lebanon and Palestine were disposed of in a matter of hours. Jordan was soon picked off by the Turks.

April 18, 1982: Turkey officially annexes all countries north of Saudi Arabia. The Turkish government soon changes it's name to the Ottoman Empire, and becomes a new super-power in the world. The Soviets are recognized as history's first "hyper-power."

-The Swiss War-
October 7, 1986: Eastern Switzerland, without specific conformation from the CP, invades Western Switzerland without issuing a declaration of war. The two sides fought long and hard, and the East manages to capture most of the West, planning on invading Geneva to fully capitulate West Switzerland.

October 14, 1986: Western Switzerland asks the French and Italians for help in the war. France and Italy agree, and forces are mobilized. French forces will be at the forefront of the fighting while Italian forces will be used as a sort of special forces, attacking key targets. The war begins to favor the West, as the East is soon pushed back. Zurich is soon captured, and French forces begin to split the East in two. This however, alerts the Soviets, seeing the French so close to their border.

November 21, 1986: The Soviets begin to support the East, forcing the French and Italians back across the border. Soon, Geneva is back under siege from communist forces. However, the UK has gotten wind of the war, and sends support to the West. However, this only results in a stalemate.

November 29, 1986: A ceasefire is signed between the two Swiss nations, stopping the fight for a possible indefinite amount of time.

-ASA/CP Rearmament-
March 26, 1992: most of the ASA was still using old and obsolete weapons from WW2, so the USA, the UK, and Norway plan on helping to get everyone in fighting shape. They help the ASA develop new war technologies and weapons, as well as shipping American, British, and Norwegian weapons and vehicles to the countries. This gives an incredible boost in military power to the ACA. The Soviets get wind of this rearmament and begin to do their own version as well. Now both sides are almost equally matched, but the Soviets still have the upper hand.

-The Lunar Colonization Project-
May 13, 2002: The CP and ASA begin to colonize the moon, in hopes of getting at the motherload of materials needed to fuel their war machines. They had recently found out that the moon was full of the stuff, and they were gonna seize it. The Soviets and Americans were the first to get to the moon, placing the colonies of Ozaryat (Soviets) and Amazone (America, with help from Brazil).

May 18, 2002: Iberia sends it's first spaceship to the moon, founding the Aguja colony.

September 9, 2002: The Ottoman Empire sends a mission to the moon, founding the Ecstacys colony.

December 17, 2002: The Swedish-Finnish Union colonized what was left of the moon, naming it's colony Borealis.

-The Sinking of Iceland-
February 15, 2004: a new weapon is being tested in Iceland, a member of the ASA, with the UK, Iberia, and America watching it in the process. Called the Aqua Bomb, it was designed to cause floods in the immediate area it's in. The explosion however, was underestimated, and when it happened, Iceland was completely submerged in the Atlantic. There were very few survivors, and Iceland will forever be trapped beneath the waves, frozen in time like a modern-day Atlantis.

-The Colonization of the Solar System-
March 17, 2012: the Soviets found a colony on Mars, and quickly terraformed it, allowing it to sustain an atmosphere and water. The Soviets name the colony Shangris after their ally, China. The Soviets also colonize Venus, making it more habitable, despite being close to the Sun. They name the colony Uzdechka.

October 9, 2012: Iberia, not America, builds a space station in the Asteroid Belt, and name it Estación de Phoenix (or Phoenix Station).

November 9, 2012: America colonizes Ganymede, naming it Atlas. They also build a space station around Jupiter, naming it Virtue.

January 1, 2013: The Soviets build the Vechnost space station around Saturn. They also found the colony of Novaya Rossiya (New Russia) on Uranus's moons, Miranda and Ariel.

March 21, 2013: France builds a space terminal between Uranus (no joke intended) and Neptune. France then colonized all of Neptune's moons in hopes of becoming stronger, so that they will be able to help West Switzerland when the Second Swiss War comes around.

Halloween of 2013: Iberia builds the Estación espacial Spire (Spire Space Station) around Pluto. Now, the entire Solar System has been colonized, and countries are hoping to spread their holdings across the entire galaxy.

-The North African Priest-
December 19, 2015: a man in North Africa named Alborz Ressam warns of an impending invasion from an alien collective known as the "Covenant." Despite possibly being fake, a panic ensues in North Africa. It soon spreads to the rest of the world. The great powers begin to increase their military budget, and increase production on new technologies. Some countries plan on colonizing the galaxy so they can find this Covenant.

Over the years, the Soviets and the ASA begin to colonize the galaxy after the invention of hyper-speed. The powers find multiple different alien species, proving to the human race that were not alone in the universe. The Soviets forcefully take control of the aliens they find, while the ASA allowed them to join if and when they want, seeing how they want freedom.

-The Invasion-
February 20, 2029: the French colony of New France, located in the Vriuh star system suddenly came under attack from an unidentified alien fleet. The attack is radioed to the French heavy weight battleship, Détermination, who comes in to aid. The French fear that this attack is the very attack that Alborz has been preaching throughout the world. Soon, the world finds of the Covenant, and the ASA comes in to aid.

April 28, 2029: the battle ends in a French victory, though the humans suffered very heavy loses. The disabled Covenant fleet was taken by the Iberian's and American's for study. They fount that the Covenant was exactly what Alborz was teachings a collective of aliens. They're technology is highly advanced, but the humans are as technologically superior thanks to the advancements that the Empire of the Rising Sun made all those years ago. The Covenant was very sorry for the attack, as one of the races, the Turians, which were the aliens that attacked New France, are a very militaristic society, possibly more so than the Soviets. Despite the Frenchs best wishes, the Covenant and the ASA formally made peace.

Seeing the power that the humans had, the Covenant asks the Iberians for help against an eviler collective known as the Planet Trade Organization. They have heard of a group of beings known as Saiyans, who look like humans, but are way stronger and have monkey tails. Iberia agrees, and secretly joins the Covenant in war against the PTO.

The war was long fought, but they managed to beat the PTO, with the help of the Saiyans, lead by King Vegeta. A treaty is signed, forcing the PTO to cede half of their borders to the newly born Saiyan Empire.

Two other major alien races have also been fount thanks to Soviet reconnisance, these being the Cluster and the Grox.
