Gahhh I forget what you did... Was it white suit with black paint, or black suit with white paint?

Crap, I forgot! Well wait. The first one was black painted white, the second suit was white painted black.

White painted black I preferred it because I didn't use a fabric paint, I used a paint-on dye called "dye-na-flo". The first one had the fabric paint and was very suffocating. Are you thinking about painting a bodysuit for a cosplay?

Koko: Oh my!! I love this photo. I'll also be working on my own Midna cosplay in the future, but the only thing I'm pretty stumped on is making the helmet. Oh I'd love to get any helpful suggestions from you, if you wouldn't mind offering some!

koko: Awesome!! Okay I think my biggest concern about the Helmet would be the material it's made from. I've heard from many others that foam would be the best choice, but I'm not exactly sure what kind. I'd like something that would be easy to mold, but wont fall apart on me either. ^ ^;; any suggestions?

Basically all I used for mine was upholstery foam (you can buy it in sheets at Walmart) and glued it together. Nothing fancy, nothing special.

I would look at a reference picture while you're making it so it comes out looking similar. And nope, no special tools or anything, just scissors and glue!

No material, just upholstery foam and a variety of paints and glues.
