I wanted to draw a preppy girl with a punk/grunge type of guy. I thought it would be a cute couple. I also wanted to show a sort of hot and cold idea in the realtionship, hence the colors.

As for why she's crying, I think someone passed away (dad maybe, don't ask, it's a random piece, there's no big story to it).

This was sitting in my hard-drive since summer started, so it's a little olde. I decided I need to get it finished, and so I did as such.
