when Misty was 14 she had came out to her parents as homosexual but due to her parents being highly religious, homophobic, and abusive Misty ran away from her home when she turned 15 for Misty all hope had been lost up until she met Eclipse who had decided to help her and since then Eclipse and Misty have been best friends soon after meeting Eclipse Misty decided to shave the back of her head and dye her hair rainbow colors as a form of rebellion agaagainst her parents Misty still has a hard time making friends but with the help of Eclipse she is now willing to meet more people
